At Al Hikam Foundation, we believe that every child deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. We aim to establish orphan sponsorship initiatives that support orphaned and vulnerable children by helping address their essential needs and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
Through partnerships with trusted orphanages, registered charitable organisations and responsible local caregivers, we hope to identify meaningful ways to provide assistance where it is needed most.
Our intention is not simply to provide temporary relief, but to contribute towards the wellbeing, development and future opportunities of the children we support.
How We Aim to Help
Through our planned orphan sponsorship programme, we aim to support:

- Education & Learning: Contributing towards school supplies, uniforms, educational materials and other approved learning expenses.
- Health & Wellbeing: Supporting access to appropriate healthcare and essential medical needs through responsible care providers.
- Care & Accommodation: Where appropriate, contributing towards essential costs at verified orphanages and child-care facilities.
- Child Development: Supporting safe, positive opportunities for children to learn, develop their talents and build confidence.
- Long-Term Opportunities: Working towards sustainable sponsorship arrangements that provide consistent support and help children pursue their goals.

Supporting Orphans Around the World

Children may become orphaned due to various circumstances, including conflict, disease, poverty, natural disasters, and other humanitarian crises. Why Sponsor an Orphan?
We recognise that there is no ‘one size fits all’ and as such we identify the individual needs of each orphan through working closely with our international partners in Uganda, Pakistan, Bangladesh to name a few. Together we establish those children most in need, providing them with a tailored holistic approach, looking at education, food, shelter and medication. For us, every child is unique and through the generosity of your donations we aspire to help them to break the cycle of poverty and provide them with the opportunities they deserve.
Our vision is to provide each orphan within our orphan sponsorship program the tools they need to successfully fulfil their potential in order to best support them, their families and their communities for years to come.
As a team we are dedicated not only to setting up these beneficial programs but in actually ensuring that they work. Through field we personally work closely with our international partners to ensure that those in need are receiving all of your donations.

What happens if a child no longer needs sponsorship?
If a child graduates from the programme or their circumstances change, your sponsorship will be transferred to another eligible child so your support continues to make an impact.
